Learn about IceCube, a neutrino observatory in the South Pole that's searching for subatomic particles originating from cosmic or galactic sources. With applications in astrophysics, particle physics, and the earth sciences; IceCube's research produces a plethora of data and a myriad of different simulations. HTCondor's high throughput computing capabilities make this data processing and simulation generation possible. Presented on May 27 by Benedikt Riedel as part of HTCondor Week 2021. Slide decks are available here: https://agenda.hep.wisc.edu/event/157... Learn more about IceCube: https://icecube.wisc.edu/ Questions?
