DESCRIPTION:To advance progress in the practice of 21 cm intensity mapping
we are organizing a community workshop on 21 cm cosmology instrumentation
in Madison Wisconsin.  The workshop focuses on sharing recent progress a
nd challenges from all the major 21 cm intensity mapping efforts\, both Eo
R and post-EoR\, to help this field reach its full potential.  \n\n\nWork
shop topics:\n\nBeam and gain calibration\n\n\n	the practice of calibratio
n from the sky\, redundant baselines and their combination\n	use of drones
\, holography and EM simulation\n	pass band structures\n\n\nSources of cor
related signals (other than sky)\n\n\n	cross talk\, feed cross coupling\,
ground pickup\n\n\nAdvances in mitigation of foregrounds\n\n\n	foreground
wedge and its leakage in practice\n	identifying the 21 cm signal in the pr
 esence of foregrounds\n	cross-correlations as a tool:\n	\n for identifyin
 g systematics\n for validation\n	\n	\n\n\nSystematics associated with dig
ital signal processing\n\nValidation- building confidence in the reality o
f an extracted 21 cm   signal\;  use of independent simulations and an
