Cool Copper Collider - Beam Background Studies 5m
Speakers: Elias Mettner (UW-Madison), Abdollah Mohammadi (UW-Madison)
      • Presentation on C3 Background Studies given by Lindsey at SLAC Conference a couple weeks ago
        • To prepare, we generated a whole bunch train worth of hits
        • No cuts applied - not worth it for now
      • Want to access parentage information on the newly created data
        • Was using C++ and older methods to analyze data, quite messy and difficult
      • Decided now was a good time to swap over code to more modern setup
      • Just managed to access the data, now working with Lindsey and Dmitris on optimizing how long it takes to run (currently ~10 mins per file) and making sure it aligns with our previous setup
