    • 1:00 PM 1:05 PM
Cool Copper Collider - Beam Background Studies 5m
Speakers: Elias Mettner (UW-Madison), Abdollah Mohammadi (UW-Madison)
      • Investigating the possibility of overlaps in the detector causing a bug that leads to our "Hits at 0"
        • Lindsey has been speaking with people more familiar with Geant
      • Went through the geant setup and run process again to help with Abdollah/Brian
        • Also looked for possible errors or bugs in the log, but didn't see anything that raised alarm
      • There may exist a set of code somewhere that directly checks for overlap in the geometry
        • Need to find it first/follow up
    • 1:05 PM 1:15 PM
      CCC Initial studies 10m
      Speaker: Mr Bryan Nee (UW-Madison)
    • 1:15 PM 1:20 PM
      CCC - H > aa > b,b tau,tau 5m
      Speaker: Ashling Quinn (U.Wisconsin)
    • 1:20 PM 1:30 PM
Muon Collider - DiHiggs - Delphes Studies 10m
      Speaker: Kenny Jia (UW-Madison)

2 approach to solve the memory-over-use issue:

      1. minimize the memory use for each module in Delphes:
        1. example of Delphes structure for 2 module 2 events: Module1Init->Module2Init->event1Module1Process->event1Module2Process->event2Module1Process->event2Module2Process->Module1Finish->Module2Finish.
        2. cleaning iterator ealier in Process instead of Finish
        3. running with 10^7 BIB now, takes at least one hour for 100 events
      2. reduce the number of BIB particles:
        1. analyze BIB effect after Shivani's mitigation strategy
    • 1:30 PM 1:45 PM
Muon Collider - DiHiggs - Detailed Simulation 15m
Speakers: Ms Shivani Lomte (UW-Madison Physics Department), Carl Vuosalo (UW-Madison)
    • 1:45 PM 1:55 PM
Muon Collider - BSM Physics, DM etc - Delphes Studies 10m
Speakers: Deborah Pinna (Boston University), Varun Sharma (University of Wisconsin - Madison)
    • 1:55 PM 2:00 PM
      Next steps 5m
Speaker: Sridhara Dasu (University of Wisconsin)
