 Kate Scholberg\n\nCIPANP is a conference series designed to explore common
  areas of interest to scientists working in elementary particle physics\, 
 nuclear physics\, nuclear and particle astrophysics\, and cosmology. Topic
 s include research focused on the study of fundamental interactions\, elem
 entary particles\, nucleons and nuclei\, astrophysical phenomena\, and cos
 mic rays. In many cases\, these distinct areas are attempting to answer th
 e same fundamental questions about our universe.  Experiments in each are
 a typically also require input from the other areas to properly extract an
 d interpret results from their data.  CIPANP brings these communities tog
 ether every three years in a unique setting that fosters collaboration amo
