Running parallel universe jobs in a typical HTCondor pool is a simple as setting universe = parallel in a submit file, right? Unfortunately (or fortunately), the answer is no. This talk will guide pool admins on the necessary configuration for enabling parallel universe jobs in their HTCondor pool. The talk will also touch on some use cases, both good and bad, for parallel universe.
