The Tier-1 Computing Center is currently running a commercial batch system to manage its cluster.
A small HTCondor instance has been installed to test its features, to practice management tasks and to get acquainted with typical troubleshooting patterns.
Several tools and utilities depending on the underlying the batch system have been developed and customized over the years that must be adapted in case of migration. Moreover, the way local users interact with the system will also need a considerable adaptation effort. This talk describes the current situation and the foreseen steps to achieve such migration.
