Cool Copper Collider - Beam Background Studies 10m
Speakers: Elias Mettner, Abdollah Mohammadi (UW-Madison)
      • Current goal is to calculate background rates at the first layer of pixel detector with GPig output within next few weeks
      • Reworked internals of GuineaPig to increase accuracy (double precision)
      • Produced scripts to run and plot multiple GuineaPig runs
      • Made some more plots to validate the physics, runs accurate enough for now
      • Need to interface GPig outputs to GEANT simulation (CMSSW is taking longer than intended, but will be used in the future when ready) and simulate enough events to fill a C3 bunch train (~133 GPig runs)
