The FIFE group at Fermilab released "jobsub_lite" to users in February 2023 as a replacement for the old "jobsub" tool, and FIFE experiments have been using it and tokens (alongside X509 proxies) almost exclusively since early May. In this talk, we will go over the architecture of jobsub_lite, the immediate benefits we saw, the issues we ran into in the initial transition from X509 Proxies to tokens, and the lessons we have learned in this first phase of the deployment of jobsub_lite.
