- Last week at SUSY15 conference. Discussed wih Matthew and Sridhara relateed to few lZ related tasks.
- Gamma-X studies : Since he added the electric fields in the different regions similar to how LUX has it set up ), together with their proper signs up and down. So now full sims are possible of gamma-X where the electrons from the reverse field regions will properly die instead of floating up to the liquid-gas interface.
- He suggested to convert energy deposit simulation to full simulation . Kevin has already some script which can take energy deposit sims and feed that information into a full simulation. The motivation is that one can run energy deposit sims, make cuts to remove most of the events, and only run full sims on a small subset of events about which you care.
I have started working on this case, basically undestanding Kevin script to make it work for my study.
Look up table for full simulation : Since full simulation is expensive computing wise. We had some discussion with Matthew related to whether having an idea of look up table is worth. Still nothing conclusive. Matthew plan to bring this up in simulation/computing group.
