    • 1
Cool Copper Collider - Beam Background Studies
Speakers: Elias Mettner (UW-Madison), Abdollah Mohammadi (UW-Madison)

      CIRCE:

      • Messaged Thorsten Ohl (who wrote CIRCE) about this Division error
      • Division.Above_max(...) means there is a beam particle with energy above the upper limit
        • In other words, I misspecified the beam energies when filling the template— I put 125 when our GPig output was actually 250
      • After that managed to successfully generate data with circe_generate
        • Don't really understand structure - you specify number of events each event generates two numbers - what they stand for, I'm not certain
      • Also, the mysterious ".histogram" files have been produced by CIRCE directly (lumi-ee.histogram, and for gg, eg, ge)
        • appear to be a text file containing a bunch of numbers, going to plot to see what it looks like

      Other:

      • I have a SLAC account now with computing access
    • 2
