Meals
Gourmet buffet-styles lunches will be provided at no additional cost to all registered attendees by Steenbock's on Orchard. In addition, snacks and coffee/tea will be provided during the breaks.
Breakfast and dinner are on your own, but there are many (dozens!) of options available within a short walk from the Discovery Building or any of the hotels listed on this page. Downtown Madison is very pedestrian friendly, there is no need to rent a car.
Workshop Hotel Accommodations
We've arranged block reservations at three nearby hotels (Union South, HotelRED and DoubleTree), where you can get special rates for the duration of the conference. We advise you reserve your hotel room as soon as possible, as the number of discounted rooms is limited. To reserve your hotel room you will need to contact the hotel directly -- please use the Group Reservation Code if you call by phone, or the Reserve Online links below, and book before the room block expiration dates.

The Union South hotel is directly across the street from the Discovery Building where the conference is hosted. Recommended for maximum convenience.

Getting Here, Getting Around
- Getting to the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus (by car, bus or plane)

Note that a car is not required in order to get around Madison; in fact, a renting a car is likely to become a hassle because parking in downtown Madison is limited. Taxis are readily available to and from the Dane County Regional Airport (MSN) to campus for ~$25 each way. Once on campus, all of the listed hotels plus dozens of pubs and restaurants are within an easy 5 to 20 minute walk of the conference auditorium.
