The Madison Airport is serviced by American, Delta, United and a few other airlines. Travel time from the airport to downtown is approximately 20 minutes by taxi.
Various Taxi services offer airport transportation.
By Bus
From O'Hare:
You will not need a car if you are staying in the Downtown. You can save money and avoid parking hassles if you take the Van Galder Bus Service. There are frequent buses from O'Hare Bus Terminal (behind the O'Hare Hilton) and it costs $30 to the UW-Madison campus. It takes 3 hours to get to Madison.By Car
Use GPS or google maps. Driving time is about 2h 15m from O'Hare or Fermilab. About 3h from downtown Chicago.Parking Information: If you wish to purchase parking near Pyle Center please follow the instructions for individual purchase in advance. You can also park at nearby city lot and pay at exit.
