3 A Modest Appeal to Conformal Gravity

We review the ideas behind conformal gravity viewed as an alternative theory of gravitation, and how it presents a solution to the missing matter problem. We then focus on our own work involving the deflection of light and on the existence of spontaneous breaking of conformal invariance via classical solitonic solutions.
